Leilani Pai

Visiting Assistant Professor
Department of Mathematics, Denison University

I am currently a visiting faculty member in Mathematics at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

I received my PhD in mathematics in August 2023, advised by Dr. Xavier Pérez Giménez at the University of Nebraska. Sometime before that, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California.

I am passionate about education, and this translates both to teaching and research. My current research interests are in STEM education, especially undergraduate mathematics education. I also have research experience as a mathematician studying graph theory and probabilistic combinatorics.

When I have a spare moment, I enjoy hiking, baking, and playing any musical instrument I can get my hands on.

(PS. I am on the job market!)
